A postdoctoral position at the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM) located in downtown Montreal, affiliated with Université de Montreal and closely linked to McGill University, is available immediately.
Summary of responsibilities
Topics of research focus on spinal motor neuron development, and include the molecular analysis of motor axon guidance, and neuronal cell body migration in chick and mouse model systems.

Job requirements

Applicants must have a PhD in relevant fields of biological or biomedical neurosciences, and proven research ability evidenced by publications and other indicators of further research potential. Other essential criteria required by this position are a strong interest in developmental neurobiology; excellent understanding of developmental biology, molecular biology; demonstrated expertise in immunohistochemistry, microscopy, image analysis; excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
