We are searching for adult volunteers to participate in a clinical study aiming at the prevention of type 2 diabetes. Our project examines the effects of omega-3 supplements on reducing newly-discovered risk factors for type 2 diabetes.
Being involved in this study provides volunteers an in-depth medical examination in addition to obtaining information relevant to their state of health, including:
Their risk of developing type 2 diabètes
Their body composition in terms of muscle mass, percentage of fat and bone density
Their number of calories spent at rest
All of which, will be measured using a combination of tests that are only accessible through medical research.
Volunteers will receive compensation for their time and expenses related to their involvement in this intervention.
This project is under the supervision of Dr. May Faraj.
