The Éducœur-en-route kit was developed from the Éducœur study conducted at the IRCM by a research team made up of physicians, psychologists, nutritionists, kinesiologists and nurses.
Based on its experience with the Éducœur study, the IRCM research team created a teaching kit designed specifically for family medicine groups (FMG) in order to support their efforts in primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases. This kit contains an evaluation questionnaire on patients’ lifestyle habits as well as 61 informative and educational leaflets, which target the behaviours revealed in the questionnaire and provide practical solutions for different areas of cardiovascular health.
You are a health professional
The Éducœur-en-route kit is at your disposal for the education of your patients. Printed copies are not available at the IRCM. You can, however, print the questionnaire and leaflets, without modifying them and by crediting their source. These tools cannot be used for commercial purposes.
You are a patient
Start by filling out the questionnaire designed to help health professionals become familiar with your lifestyle habits and thereby improve your health. You will then discover which leaflets to read, according to your answers.
