The IRCM: a high-level training centre
One of IRCM’s missions is to train a new generation of high-calibre scientists. Equipped with a renowned multidisciplinary environment with 34 basic research units, seven core facilities, three research platforms and four specialized research clinics, the IRCM offers an exceptional interface conducive to training. It has been a forerunner as the first research centre in Quebec to bring together basic and clinical researchers under the same roof, fostering the synergy needed to increase the clinical impact needed to treat human diseases. Moreover, the IRCM already has a tradition and expertise in training graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from all over the world.
