Depuis 1996, l’IRCM a créé dix bourses d’études, la plupart en partenariat avec l’entreprise et les fondations privées. L’IRCM désire augmenter l’enveloppe de ses bourses actuelles et en créer de nouvelles afin d’attirer en plus grand nombre les meilleurs étudiants et stagiaires postdoctoraux.
Bourses de recherche (postdoctorales)
Deux bourses postdoctorales en biologie cellulaire et moléculaire sont décernées tous les deux ans à de jeunes chercheurs qui se distinguent dans ce domaine et qui désirent poursuivre leurs études postdoctorales. Augmenter la capitalisation de cette bourse permettra à l’IRCM d’attirer davantage de stagiaires postdoctoraux, amenant à l’Institut une expertise supplémentaire en biologie cellulaire et moléculaire.
La bourse postdoctorale en pharmacologie moléculaire est décernée tous les deux ans à un jeune chercheur qui se distingue dans ce domaine et qui désire poursuivre ses études postdoctorales. Augmenter le capital de cette bourse permettra d’attirer davantage de stagiaires postdoctoraux dans le domaine de la pharmacologie moléculaire.
Nouvelles bourses (bourses d'études)
La création de 25 nouvelles bourses d’études annuelles pour les étudiants à la maîtrise et au doctorat permettra d’attirer les meilleurs étudiants diplômés. Le concours à ces bourses sera ouvert à tout étudiant inscrit à la maîtrise ou au doctorat dans toutes les disciplines de recherche menées à l’Institut.

Since 1996, the IRCM has created ten scholarships, mostly in partnership with corporate donors and private foundations. In order to attract the highest number of the most talented students and postdoctoral fellows, the IRCM would like to significantly expand its budget for its current scholarships and wishes to create new ones.
Postgraduate fellowships
Every two years, two postdoctoral fellowships in cellular and molecular biology are awarded to outstanding young researchers in this field who wish to pursue their postgraduate studies at the IRCM. Increasing capital funding for these fellowships will allow the IRCM to attract more postdoctoral fellows and thus provide the Institut with additional expertise in cell and molecular biology.
The postdoctoral fellowship in molecular pharmacology is awarded every two years to an outstanding young researcher in this field who wishes to continue in postgraduate studies. Through increasing the capital for this award, more postdoctoral fellows will be attracted to the field of molecular pharmacology.
New scholarships
The IRCM Foundation will create 25 new annual scholarships for master’s and doctorate students in order to attract the best graduates. Competitions for these scholarships will be open to all students enrolled in a master’s or doctorate degree program in any of the disciplines in which the Institute conducts research.
