Achat d’équipements
L’évolution rapide de la recherche et des nouvelles technologies oblige l’Institut à renouveler régulièrement son parc d’équipements spécialisés. Les investissements totaux requis dans ce domaine sont présentement de l’ordre de 10,7 M$. Le financement proviendra à 80 % du programme de subvention des infrastructures de recherche de la Fondation canadienne
pour l’innovation (FCI) et du programme complémentaire du gouvernement du Québec, et à 20 % de la présente campagne de financement.
Centre d’investigations moléculaires et physiologiques
La création du Centre d’investigations moléculaires et physiologiques permettra à l’IRCM de réaliser pleinement les opportunités présentées par les modèles animaux créés à l’Institut, de bonifier la valeur économique et scientifique de la propriété intellectuelle et d’accélérer le transfert des connaissances vers des cibles thérapeutiques tout en favorisant la formation d’une nouvelle génération de chercheurs.

Equipment purchase
Given the rapid evolution of research and new technologies, the Institut needs to renew its fleet of specialized equipment on a regular basis. The total investment required in this area is currently about $10.7 million. Of this sum, 80% will originate from the research infrastructure grant program provided by the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) and from a complementary program from the Government of Quebec. However, 20% of the $10.7 million will be provided by this fundraising campaign.
Molecular and physiological investigation centre
Creating the Molecular and Physiological Investigation Centre will allow the IRCM to fully realize any opportunities presented by the animal models created by the Institut, enhance the scientific and economic value of intellectual property and accelerate knowledge transfers towards therapeutic targets, while also promoting the training of a new generation of researchers.
