The IRCM Foundation’s 2015 Parcours santé – golf tournament held on June 16 raised $47,500 for biomedical research conducted at the institute. The event took place under the honorary chairmanship of Wilner Morisseau, Vice President of civil engineering at Geninov, and Florence Legros, Vice President of Rayons de soleil.
“Already united in life, we decided to unite for a cause in support of the fundamental and clinical research that takes place at the Institut and, thereby, support one of the gems of the city of Montréal,” mention the honorary co-chairs. “We were truly honoured to chair the golf tournament benefitting the IRCM and we thank everyone who attended.”
Before their round of golf, players could obtain a brief health check offered by nurses and physicians from the IRCM Clinic and Services de santé Rayons de soleil, in collaboration with Groupe Biron.
All funds raised are directly used to support research and training activities at the IRCM.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to our event’s success: golfers, partners, donors and organizers. Special thanks to Jacques Gauthier and Serge A. Boileau, co-chairs of the tournament’s organizing committee, as well as all other committee members.
