Reford MacDougall
Special Advisor to the President, Montreal Economic Institute
Reford MacDougall holds a B.A. degree from McGill University. Throughout his career, he worked for five years as a financial journalist, and then accumulated 40 years of experience in all phases of the financial business. He also worked in politics and at the Adam Smith Institute, a free market think-tank based in London, England, which publishes its research on market economy. He is a founding member of the Montreal Economic Institute and, in 2004, he was made a member of the Order of Canada for his fundraising efforts on behalf of more than 30 charitable organizations. He has been a member of the IRCM Foundation’s Board of Directors since October 2010.
