Before joining BDC’s Venture Capital team in 2006, Marie-Hélène Nolet worked for Hydro-Québec CapiTech Inc. (Hydro-Québec’s investment subsidiary), and Cesky Mobil a.s. in the Czech Republic, the country’s third-largest wireless operator. In the past, Ms. Nolet was successively president and chair of the board of the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal, and member of the executive committee of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec. She also served as chair of the Foundation of the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal and did volunteer work for Défi sportif. Ms. Nolet currently sits on the boards of directors of dance company O Vertigo and the Canadian Club of Montreal, and is also a member of the advisory committee of Premières en affaires magazine. Marie-Hélène Nolet is a CFA and has a bachelor of commerce from McGill University. She has been a member of the IRCM Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2012 and is a member of the Audit Committee.
