In the mechanisms of genetic diversity research unit, we:

• Study the mechanisms of antibody gene diversification operating through active mutagenesis
• Investigate the post-translational regulation of Activation Induced Deaminase and its role in B-cell lymphomagenesis
• Determine the role of DNA repair enzymes in preventing cancer during antibody gene diversification
• Study the evolution and characterization of mutator enzymes
