Cardiovascular Pharmacology
Work in this research unit focuses on evaluating pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments for essential hypertension, the active mechanisms of these treatments and their short- or long-term benefits.  His unit is also evaluating the active mechanisms and effects of treating patients for hypotension. A further component of their research is evaluating the benefits of an integrated clinical treatment and research unit in terms of various risk factors for cardiovascular disease and the advantages of such a unit for measuring cardiovascular health.
