The IRCM Foundation's Succession Committee is proud to invite you to the second edition of the IRCM dragon boat race, which will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
What is a dragon boat?
A dragon boat can hold 22 people and is about 12.5 meters long and 1.1 meter wide. A dragon boat team consists of a maximum of 20 paddlers, a drummer and a steersman (coach).
The activity is open to everyone (minimum age: 12 years old). You can register individually or create a team. Your family, friends and colleagues can participate or encourage you!
September 23, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to noon
The activity will take place rain or shine.

- Arrival of participants
- Dragon boat introductory course, on the dock
- Practical training, on water (45 minutes)
The lesson includes games to help your team members to synchronize their moves and become familiar with the basic movement.
- Tournament (45 minutes)
Four to five races between the boats, until the winning teams are determined!
- Throughout the day: snacks, DJ and presentation of the IRCM
