The Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM), an internationally renowned biomedical, clinical and bioethics research facility located at 110 des Pins Street in Montreal, is looking for a Human Resources Technician:

Permanent position Human Resources Technician for the Human Resources Department.

Summary of responsibilities 

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will hold the position of Human Resources Technician whose main tasks are the following:

  • Assume the various responsibilities related to the recruitment of administrative personnel.
  • Welcome new members, provide information on their benefits and obligations and ensure their integration. 
  • Ensure the management of employee files.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of administrative processes and knowledge transfer
  • Manage activities related to training and workforce development and ensure administrative follow-up related to Bill 90.
  • Ensure the follow-up of occupational health and safety files in accordance with the standards in effect.
  • Renew work and student permits and complementary insurance.
  • Assist your colleagues in the Human Resources Department with the management of the pension plan and all relevant tasks.


  • DEC in administration, human resources option.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
  • Functional bilingualism.
  • Organizational skills, priority management, thoroughness and discretion.
  • Knowledge of the scientific research environment is a definite asset.

Working Condition

Position: full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary range: $41,369 to $51,724
Benefits: Group insurance, defined benefit pension plan.
Vacation time 

Workplace: 110 des Pins Street, Montreal (partial teleworking)
