Appointment of Stéphane Paquet to IRCM Foundation Board of Directors

The board members of the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM) / Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM) Foundation are pleased to announce the appointment of Stéphane Paquet as director and member of the Foundation Corporation. 

“I welcome the expertise of Mr. Paquet. His international experience and understanding of the media and business worlds in Quebec are a major asset to the IRCM Foundation,” said André J.P. Couillard, President of the IRCM Foundation.

Stéphane Paquet has been Vice President, Investment Greater Montréal of Montréal International since November 2015. Previously, he was Quebec’s delegate general in London for two years where he focused on enhancing economic trade between the United Kingdom and Quebec. From 1991 to 2001, Mr. Paquet worked as a reporter, copy editor and assignment editor for Radio-Canada television. He went on to work in print media, first at Soleil and then La Presse. He was head of La Presse’s Business section for two years, and in September 2010 became deputy editor and editor in chief of Les Affaires Group. Mr. Paquet received a bursary for the US Department of State’s Young Leaders program. He holds a graduate diploma in international politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a master’s degree in communication from Université du Québec à Montréal.
