How to prepare for your appointment

To be admitted to the IRCM Clinic, you must be referred by your doctor.

Please note that the IRCM follows the health ministry’s directives regarding missed appointments. Your name will be removed from the waiting list following three postponed appointments or two missed appointments without notice. You will need to see your doctor again in order to get a new consultation request.

Preparing for your appointment
  • For your first appointment, make sure you have your pharmacy’s contact information. 
  • Be prepared to summarize your health situation since your last appointment (for example, hospitalizations, health problems, side effects, or list of your last blood pressure readings). 
  • Prepare a list of questions and concerns.
  • List prescription refills.
  • When you arrive, please have your health insurance card on hand.
