The President of the IRCM, Mr. Gérard A. Limoges, is pleased to announce that Dr. Claude Lenfant was recently elected member of the Board of Directors of the IRCM. Dr. Lenfant has worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for more than 20 years. The IRCM is honoured to welcome this internationally known scientist to its board. Dr. Lenfant will occupy one of the two seats reserved for outside scientists.
In addition, Mr. Limoges wishes to thank Mr. Gaétan Lussier for his service to the IRCM. Mr. Lussier has completed his fourth and last term on the board of Directors, where he made a significant contribution from 1994 to 2006 as vice-president and president of the human-resources committee, as well as to the other committees on which he served over the years.
