The IRCM is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Éric Lécuyer as full Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine, effective June 1, 2022. This promotion is a direct reflection of the quality of his work in terms of teaching, research, contribution to the institution's activities and academic outreach.
Dr. Lécuyer leads the RNA Biology Research Unit at IRCM. His team seeks to understand the biological functions of the intracellular localization of RNAs, the molecules that allow, among other things, the transmission of the genetic information necessary for the production of cellular proteins.
He is the author of many important scientific publications.
