mRNA Subcellular Trafficking

Summary of responsibilities

The RNA Biology Research Unit is seeking to recruit candidates wishing to pursue graduate studies (M.Sc. or PhD) in the field of mRNA subcellular trafficking. The laboratory combines drosophila genetics, high-resolution molecular imaging, and functional genomics to characterize the mechanisms regulating mRNA localization and their impact on cellular organization.

Job requirement

Pertinent experience in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, and/or in bioinformatics (an asset)
