Summary of responsibilities
The Molecular Genetics and Development Research Unit is seeking candidates to work on the polycystic kidney disease, the most prevalent genetic disease and considered a cancer in disguise. The environment is highly dynamic, fast-paced and research-oriented with cutting-edge technologies.
- Understand the causes and mechanisms of the disease by generating mouse models
- Define the signalling pathways, protein function and pathogenic mechanisms
- Develop a novel diagnostic and treatment protocols.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Knowledge and experience in the field of molecular or cellular biology
Conditions of employment
The student should have adequate academic record to be eligible to apply for support eventually.
