Research Technical Assistant – Pragmatic Health Ethics Research Unit

Position Summary
We are seeking a Research Technical Assistant to support the activities of several ongoing research projects within Dr. Racine’s Pragmatic Health Ethics Research Unit.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage communications (website, social media, newsletter);
  • Support the organization of research activities and projects;
  • Provide technical assistance in the preparation of scientific content (oral and written) for various target audiences;
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Technical college diploma (DEC) in social sciences or in a field deemed relevant;
  • Interest in conducting research in health ethics;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English);
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management;
  • Experience working within an interdisciplinary team (an asset);
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Working Conditions

  • 12-month contract, with possibility of renewal;
  • Variable schedule ranging from 15 to 36.25 hours per week, depending on laboratory needs;
  • Enrollment in the RREGOP pension plan, a competitive retirement plan to help you plan and secure your future;

  • Opportunity to work at the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM), a diverse and internationally recognized research institute;
  • Salary determined according to current salary scales and experience.
