Dr. Nadia Dubé becomes Vice-President, Development and Administration of the IRCM

The Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Nadia Dubé as Vice-President, Development and Administration. Her arrival is an important element in consolidating the Institute's management team. Her skills will undoubtedly contribute to creating a climate conducive to the development of the IRCM rich research and clinical universe.

Nadia has contributed to the research and innovation life sciences ecosystem for many years and holds several years of research experience in various sub-sectors. A scientist by training, she holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from McGill University. She completed postdoctoral fellowships in the Netherlands and at the EMBL in Germany. She then worked at the University of Zurich in Switzerland as a research associate and later, at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute. Nadia also holds a double Executive MBA from the Université Paris-Dauphine and the ESG-UQAM.

In 2017, she started a non-academic career in business development at Mitacs, a national non-profit research organization, where she developed research partnerships between academia and the industry. She then focused on life sciences at the Quebec Biopharmaceutical Research Consortium (CQDM) as Senior Director of Communications and Business Development. In 2021, she joined the Foreign Direct Investment team at Investissement Québec as Senior Project Director for the life sciences and health technology sector, with a mandate to attract foreign investments to Québec and to contribute to the development of strategic industrial projects.

With her knowledge of the imperatives of science, but also of funding and partnerships cogwheels that support research, Dr. Dubé will be an invaluable asset in for major new initiatives which will help position the IRCM at the forefront of modern molecular medicine.
