Science Forum 2025: science in the Laurentians

The idyllic setting of the Grand Lodge Mont-Tremblant, where IRCM's Science Forum 2025 took place on June 5 and 6, was the scene of rich and fruitful exchanges between scientists of all specializations.

In an enchanting setting conducive to exchanges, more than 90 high-level scientific presentations brought together some 155 participants to discuss the wealth and diversity of research conducted in IRCM laboratories.

A working meeting that doesn't overshadow the pleasure of being together
Organized annually by the Institute's Academic Affairs team since 2016, the Scientific Forum is a two-day scientific retreat that enables members of IRCM's scientific community to present to their peers the research projects they are piloting and the expertise they are developing. This not-to-be-missed, formative event is an opportunity for meetings that fosters the proliferation of innovative ideas, the development of collaborations between research laboratories and the excellence that characterizes the work carried out at IRCM.

‘‘Once again this year, despite a difficult global context for research, I came away invigorated by the scientific talent emerging within our walls. The Forum is a unique opportunity to appreciate the potential of both the individuals and the avenues of research and innovation underway,” emphasized Dr. Michel Cayouette, Vice-President, Research and Academic Affairs.

Valuable support from BMO
BMO Financial Group's support for the Forum makes these fruitful exchanges possible. The banking institution's commitment to nurturing the next generation has never wavered.
