In 2021, the IRCM launched its Early-Career Scientist Seminar Series, an innovative initiative that aims to celebrate rising stars within the international research community, and give them a platform to network and showcase their discoveries at a turning point of their professional journey.
For four years now, this prestigious program has offered postdoctoral fellows and other early-career scientists from around the world the opportunity to travel to Montreal to give a seminar about their research work and meet with the multidisciplinary scientific community of the IRCM, during a two-day visit.
So far, the series has welcomed 20 exceptional speakers. The call for applications is now open for the 5th edition, which promises to be most exciting.
''Getting invited to present my work at the IRCM Early-Career Scientist Seminar Series was an exciting and truly enriching experience. To connect with researchers at IRCM, learn about their fantastic work and exchange ideas left a lasting impression on me. Sharing my own research at the IRCM reaffirmed the value of what I do as a scientist!''
