The IRCM Foundation’s traditional Golf-Parcours santé tournament took place on September 14th at the Summerlea Golf Club in Vaudreuil-Dorion, under the honorary presidency of Etienne Rivard, President of Infrastructel. With the participation of over 100 players, $116,000 were raised to support the acquisition of new cutting-edge research equipment for the Institute’s researchers.
“Although the Covid-19 pandemic brought its share of challenges, particularly the need for sanitary measures, the partners and friends of the Foundation were present, said André Couillard, President of the IRCM Foundation. We are deeply grateful for their unwavering support, especially in these trying times. Funding health research is more important than ever and our researchers need to continue their life-saving work. “
In a relaxed and spirited atmosphere, the players were able to appreciate the magnificent golf course, and later, a delicious dinner. They also benefited from a silent and live auction, masterfully led by Yvon Lambert, where over 20 attractive prizes were offered up for bids.
