The Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM) is proud to announce that Eve-Marie Charbonneau, our Manager Animal Facilities and Animal Health, has been named the 2026 recipient of the Allentown Leadership Award by CALAS-ACSAL (Canadian Association for Laboratory Animal Science).

This prestigious award recognizes a professional who demonstrates outstanding and emerging leadership qualities, along with a strong commitment to animal welfare and ethical, responsible research. Generously sponsored by Allentown, the award includes a commemorative plaque, a $500 cash prize, and complimentary registration to the 2026 CALAS-ACSAL Symposium in Toronto, where the award will be formally presented.

“Eve Marie’s work exemplifies the excellence and sense of responsibility that define IRCM teams,” said Dr. Jean-François Côté, President and Scientific Director of IRCM. “Her exemplary commitment to animal welfare and scientific rigor directly supports the quality and integrity of the research conducted at the Institute. This recognition is truly well deserved.”
