Four new students have joined the IRCM this fall, ready to take on the challenge. Alan Guilloux, Ngoc Dong Nhi Vo, Bianca Stoica and Aurélie Vasseur are beginning their Master’s in Molecular and Cellular Medicine (MCM), a program that will provide them with a strong scientific foundation in molecular biology and prepare them for doctoral studies.
Developed in collaboration with Université de Montréal, this unique one-year program combines advanced courses in molecular biology with hands-on training through research rotations in IRCM laboratories. Students are thus given the opportunity to experience different research environments, develop their laboratory skills and refine their scientific interests.
The new recruits will also have the opportunity to master a variety of cutting-edge techniques and learn to use sophisticated scientific tools through the IRCM’s state-of-the-art core facilities.Upon completion of this intensive training, the future PhD students will be able to choose a research project aligned with their scientific interests.
