
The Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM) is proud to announce a major milestone in its mission to advance health through science. It is with pride and gratitude that André Couillard and Marie-Bénédicte Pretty, respectively Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the IRCM Foundation, announce that the IRCM Foundation has awarded a record $5.3 million for the 2024-2025 fiscal year to support research, care and scientific succession at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM).
This historic contribution reflects the community’s deep trust in the IRCM’s commitment to improving health through innovation.
Funding Breakdown:
- $4,647,000 to better understand the causes of disease, develop diagnostic tools, and create innovative approaches to prevention and treatment.
- $458,000 to train highly qualified young researchers.
- $214,000 to upgrade research facilities and foster environments conducive to discovery.
“The generosity of our donors is proof that the community deeply believes in the essential role of the IRCM. Their tangible support ensures that innovation in health research will continue to move forward,” says André Couillard, Chairperson of the IRCM Foundation Board.
